aviação regional em todos os
continentes. Estamos muito
orgulhosos da resiliência que
o ATR demonstrou desde o
lançamento do programa.
A
perseverança, a permanente
dedicação à nossas aeronaves
turboélices e seus muitos bene-
fícios para as companhias
aéreas regionais é o que nos
permite hoje celebrar a 1000º
entrega, e essas mesmas qua-
lidades continuarão a nos
fornecer oportunidades nos
próximos anos.”
Deve ser salientado que,
desde a recuperação do mer-
cado de turboélices em 2005,
a ATR tem representado mais
de 80% das vendas interna-
cionais de aeronaves regio-
nais de 90-assentos. O ano
de 2011 foi recorde para a
empresa franco-italiana, que
registrou 157 vendas frmes.

.
A respeito destes números,
Filippo Bagnato acrescentou:
”A tendência atual na aviação
regional mostra um predomí-
nio cada vez mais acentuado
da tecnologia turboélice no
segmento de aeronaves de 90
assentos ou menos. Os tur-
boélices e os aviões ATR, em
particular, são também as ae-
ronaves mais adequadas para
atender às crescentes exigên-
cias ambientais das compan-
hias aéreas e dos passageiros.”
Para muitos operadores as
aeronaves ATR fornecem al-
gumas das mais baixas taxas
de consumo de querosene
e custos operacionais entre
os aviões regionais, jatos e
turboélices
combinados.
As aeronaves da nova Série
600 trazem todas as últimas
inovações em termos de
conforto e estão equipadas
com uma aviônica moderna
do tipo “glass cockpit”. No en-
tanto, a produção do sucesso
anterior da ATR, a Série 500,
ainda continua.
u
benchmark in regional avia-
tion on all continents. We are
very proud of the resilience that
ATR has demonstrated since
the launch of the programme.
The perseverance, the unfailing
commitment to our turbo-
prop aircraft and their many
benefts for regional airlines
are what allow us to celebrate
the 1,000th delivery today, and
these same qualities will conti-
nue to provide us with oppor-
tunities in the years to come.”
It should be pointed out
that since the recovery of the
turboprop market in 2005,
ATR has represented over
80% of international sales
of 90-seat regional aircraft.
2011 was a record year for
the Franco-Italian company
which posted 157 frm sales.

.
Concerning these fgures,
Filippo Bagnato added:
“The
trend in regional aviation
shows an increasingly pro-
nounced predominance of
turboprop technology in the
90-seat or less aircraft seg-
ment. Turboprops and ATR
planes in particular, are also
the best suited aircraft to meet
the increasing environmental
requirements of airlines and
passengers.”
For many operators, ATR
aircraft provide some of the
lowest kerosene consump-
tion rates and operating
costs among regional aircraft,
jets and turboprops combi-
ned. The new Series 600 air-
craft, are ftted with all the
latest innovations in terms
of comfort and are equipped
with a modern “glass cockpit”,
although production of ear-
lier Series 500 ATR continues.
ATR has sold approxima-
tely 1,200 aircraft to over
180 operators based in 91
countries and its planes have
totalled over 21 million fight
hours.
